Examples

ts
'#%' // round percent
ts
'0.00%' // shows values as '0.00%'
ts
'$0.00' // shows values as '$0.00'

dataLabelFormatScatter?

optional dataLabelFormatScatter?: "custom" | "customXY" | "XY"

What a scatter's data labels show when ChartPropsBase.showLabel is set. A scatter writes series labels only for one of these, so showLabel alone shows nothing.

  • 'XY': each point's value and category name, composed by PowerPoint;
  • 'custom': each point's label text;
  • 'customXY': each point's label text followed by its X and Y values, for a label that is not blank.

dataLabelPosition?

optional dataLabelPosition?: "r" | "b" | "ctr" | "t" | "l" | "bestFit" | "inBase" | "inEnd" | "outEnd"

Where a data label sits relative to its point (ST_DLblPos).

The whole set is legal on the attribute, but only a subset of it is legal per plot type -- a pie takes bestFit/ctr/inEnd/outEnd and nothing else, a stacked bar takes inBase and not outEnd. A value outside this plot's subset is dropped with a warning rather than emitted, because PowerPoint reports the file as needing repair.
