Interface: ImportSlidesRequest

One selected native source page and its final zero-based destination position.

Properties

embedFonts?

optional embedFonts?: boolean

Carry this request's source deck's embedded fonts across, as importSlide's ImportSlideOptions.embedFonts does. Default false.

Spelled per request for symmetry with the rest, but the carry itself is a whole-deck operation: p:embeddedFontLst does not record which page uses which face, so a source deck whose requests include even one embedFonts carries all of its faces, once. Merging into this deck de-dupes by typeface and face slot, so several sources embedding the same family contribute it once.

importNotes?

optional importNotes?: boolean

Carry this page's speaker notes (notesSlideN.xml) across, as importSlide's ImportSlideOptions.importNotes does. Default false: the slide copy drops the notesSlide relationship, so the imported page arrives without notes.

Per request rather than per batch because a stitch mixes sources — the notes of a library's cover page are worth carrying where a scratch deck's are not. The deck-wide half of the policy is not per request: a presentation holds at most one notesMaster, so the destination's own is reused when it has one and the first carried master is installed when it has none, exactly as importSlide and appendSlides do.

outputIndex

outputIndex: number

Zero-based position in the complete destination slide list after this batch.

rescale?

optional rescale?: boolean | "stretch" | "fit"

Rescale this page's geometry onto this deck's canvas when the source deck's slide size differs, as importSlide's ImportSlideOptions.rescale does ('fit'/true preserves aspect ratio and centres; 'stretch' fills). Default false, which keeps the batch's requirement that the sizes match.

Every request naming one source must give the same value. A batch import uses 'copy' theme semantics, so a rescale rewrites the imported layout and master shape trees as well as the page's, and those are shared between that source's pages: rescaling one page and not another would leave the second aligned against a master that had moved under it. A batch that disagrees is refused with import/rescale-conflict before anything is copied. Different sources are independent and may each choose.

source

source: Presentation

Already-loaded source presentation whose immutable package bytes own the page.

sourceIndex

sourceIndex: number

Zero-based source slide index. Naming one source page in several requests is how a batch asks for several independent copies of it.
