The option name the difference is about — the last object key on path, or '*' when a whole call is present on one side only. This is what a note's construct is matched against, which is why construct has to name a field path rather than describe one.

Shape names nested inside the same call — a group's children. A note scoped to one of these also declares differences reported against the call that carries it.
