Type Alias: AbsoluteFrameFailure

AbsoluteFrameFailure = "no-own-transform" | "group-transform-missing" | "group-transform-degenerate"

Why Shape.absoluteFrame could not resolve a frame.

  • no-own-transform — the shape states no a:xfrm of its own, or an incomplete one: typically a placeholder inheriting its box from the layout. Nothing is wrong with the deck; the read model reports what the shape itself states.
  • group-transform-missing — an enclosing p:grpSp states no complete a:off/a:ext and a:chOff/a:chExt pair, so its child space is unknown.
  • group-transform-degenerate — an enclosing group's a:chExt is zero on an axis, so the child-space ratio the mapping divides by is undefined.

A missing group transform outranks a degenerate one wherever the two meet in one chain: composing needs every group's mapping, so an ancestor that states none is reported even when a nearer group is the degenerate one.
